Our Thanks!

Zoot was a long journey that took over 3 years to create. Matthew 6:33 tells us “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you.” We could not have done it without the help of our lord and saviour Jesus Christ who opened countless doors for us when others appeared shut. The most enjoyable part of our journey was all the great people we met along the way!

  • Rick O’Donnell – Architect Extrodinaire
Rick took a set of vet clinic and kennel plans and turned them into a state of the art pet hospital with all suite luxury boarding. You can thank Rick for our stunning “Industrial Texas Hill Country” building. Rick has established himself as a top architect in the Austin area for a reason.
  • Gary Henley – Builder & Conductor
Experience is just that…experience! You can’t just upload the disk to the hard drive in your head when it comes to building a facility this complex. Gary is “The Guy” when it comes to vet clinics in the Austin area.
  • Dan Chapel – Veterinary Architect
Dan has designed over 500 vet clinics across the county. His ability to partner with with other architects (In this case Rick)and arrive at an incomparable finished product is a testiment to his professionalism.
  • Sean Thompson – Associate Professor of Advertising, The Univeristy of Texas
Our creative guru. Sean took an interest in our project early on and offered up scores of talented students to help us arrive at the look of feel of the Zoot brand. We can’t thank him enough!
  • Amanda Still – Interior Designer
You can thank Amanda for the beautiful textures and colors of our interior.
  • JB Phipps- Woodland Park Pet Resort – McKinney, Texas
Jim’s dog Nacogdoches discovered this place back in 2004! JB and his staff were an inspiration to us as we designed our boarding facility. His unselfish sharing of best practices was infinitely helpful. If you are ever in North Texas, treat your dog right and take it to Woodland Park Pet Resort!
  • Cathy & Jeff Davis- Rover Resort – McKinney, Texas
Great people and top notch care given at another North Texas pet resort. Cathy and Jeff have built a beautiful facility and pointed our the potholes as we were driving to build ours. Their willingness to help us went beyond the normal course of business. Another outstanding facility in North Texas that we highly recommend!
  • Urban Tails – Houston, Texas
Susan Briggs and Crista Meyer run this oustanding facility in Midtown Houston. Jim is an official graduate of the Urban Tails Academy. You will find no better daycare or training facility in an urban setting than this place! Susan is the Director of Region 8 section of the Pet Services Association (Formerly AKBA).
