Private Lessons

Private training lessons will familiarize your dog with basic commands and appropriate behavior. A well behaved dog makes everyone’s lives more enjoyable. We don’t employ the use of big sticks, rolled newspapers or threats of any kind. We don’t use shock collars or pinch collars. We teach you to communicate with your pet by just using your voice to control your dog both on and off leash, at your home, at the park…. anywhere.

The recommendation for private lessons is 2-4 lessons. The first lesson is a 2 hour session. Each subsequent lesson (Lessons 2-4) is a one hour session. If you purchase 4 or more sessions your package will include the option of an in-home session to address specific behavior issues.

All dogs must be up to date on all vaccinations including Bordetella, DHPP, and Rabies. Dogs must be free of all parasites (fleas, ticks, etc).

Private lessons are ideal for:

• Curing habits such as barking, jumping on guests, scratching/whining at the door
• Addressing behavioral issues such as aggression towards other dogs/people
• Setting “off limit” areas
• Basic commands that will allow your dog to sit, stay, come
• Leash training
• Reduce the stress of separation anxiety without the need for medication

What to bring:

• 6 foot lead with collar
• Please, no retractable leashes

Fee schedule for private lessons is as follows:

• 2 Lessons = $300 (3 hours total)
• 3 lessons = $350 (4 hours total)
• 4 lessons = $400 (5 hours total)
• Additional lessons = $50 per lesson
• In home lessons = $75 per lesson
