Dog & Cat Boarding Requirements

All boarding guests must be up-to-date on vaccinations. If your pet requires any vaccinations before staying with us, we are happy to provide the vaccines for an additional fee.

Vaccinations Policy

We require dogs to be up-to-date on:

  • Canine Distemper/Parvovirus (1 or 3-year)
  • Rabies (1 or 3-year)
  • Bordetella (Kennel Cough) (1-year)
  • H3N2 Canine Influenza

We require cats to be up-to-date on:

  • Feline Distemper (1 or 3-year)
  • Rabies (1 or 3-year)

Spay/Neuter Policy

All of our dogs and cats must be spayed or neutered prior to turning 12 months of age to be accepted for boarding.

Canine Evaluation Day

A day of daycare is required prior to a first boarding stay for any dog. This ensures a smooth transition to a new environment for the dog. Daycare eases the pet into the new environment and lets them know that their owners come back for them. If we observe extraordinary levels of stress or frailties due to old age or health issues that will prevent a successful boarding stay, we will inform the owner on that day. We will also contact the owner if their dog shows any aggression towards our staff or other animals. It is advisable that daycare be scheduled a minimum of one week before your boarding reservation and preferably more. There is a charge of $55 per pet for the evaluation day.

General Admission

All pets must be in good general health at the time of checking in for boarding or daycare. We reserve the right to deny admittance to any pets lacking proof of vaccinations, displaying signs of untreated, potentially contagious conditions, or displaying aggressive behavior. Although we have skilled veterinarians on staff, our boarding caregivers may not be able to administer the proper care needed for geriatric pets with significant special needs. Pets 12 and older, and/or pets with pre-existing medical conditions may require an exam with our doctors prior to boarding.

Feeding Our Guests

We serve Hill's Science Diet Adult Sensitive Stomach and Skin dry kibble formulas to all of our canine and feline guests. If you would like to provide your own food, please label it with your pet’s name and feeding instructions, and always let our boarding staff know of any dietary restrictions.
